Born out of the vibrant college community that is Harrisonburg, Virginia, Strong Water is an energetic, dance-all-night, up and coming Folk/Americana band. What originally started as a duo, swelled to be a six piece before settling on it's now-three dedicated members whose performance is built on strong Male and Female lead vocals supported by harmonies, driving Acoustic/Electric Guitar, well crafted melodic Fiddle lines, and rounded out by tasteful Drums/Percussion. With the addition of two touring musicians to cover Banjo/Acoustic Guitar and Bass, Strong Water's eclectic collection of more than 30 original songs and a handful of covers range from Bluegrass & Blues, to their personal spin on the Americana and Folk-Rock genres, incorporating sounds and styles from influences such as Noah Gundersen, Mumford and Sons, and The Lumineers.
After large numbers of requests from fans who had enjoyed a previous EP launched in November 2014, Strong Water independently funded, recorded, and released a 14 track Debut LP in April, 2016. Strong Water's growing list of special events, shows, & festivals throughout MD, VA, WV, and NC include sharing the stage with acts such as Judah & The Lion, The Last Bison, Devon Gilfillian, Lucy Dacus, Old Salt Union, Boy Named Banjo, Will Overman Band, Chamomile & Whiskey, Erin & the Wildfire and many more.
Also to note, Strong Water's festival appearances include The Steel Wheels' 5th Annual Red Wing Roots Music Festival (2017), Lynchstock Music Festival (2017), Herndon Festival (2017), Roanoke's Festival in the Park (2016 & 2017), Doah Fest (2017), and James Madison University's Madipalooza (2015) just to name a few.

Dedicated song crafting has always been the cornerstone of The Freeway Revival. A group forged on the road, they continue to use their lyrics as a window into the life of a traveling band on the current American landscape. The Freeway Revival's refreshing and explosive blend of southern rock, funk and psychedelic soul translates to a genre-dissolving sound that feels strangely familiar yet remains entirely unique to itself.
Performing live, The Freeway balances organized, well-crafted tunes with a jam ethos that lends a raw and explorative power to the music. The blend of tasteful guitar harmonies, vibrant four-part vocal harmonies, and a unique assortment of organ and piano melodies creates a soundscape that is both intricate and energetic. Rest that on the groove of a solid rhythm section, and you are sure to feel the magnetic force of this band! Each member plays a vital role in making the live experience unforgettable.
The band has toured the U.S. coast to coast as well as internationally, continually growing a dedicated grassroots fan base. After the successful release of their self-titled 2016 EP they are poised to release their first full length album, Revolution Road, in Summer of 2017. With multiple festivals and tours on the horizon, the Freeway's journey is ongoing and exponential as they allow the livelihood of what they do to shape their sound and experience.
Kick the Aquarium: https://www.facebook.com/KickTheAquarium/
Kick The Aquarium (often abbreviated as KTA) is an American pop-rock band originating from Harrisonburg, Virginia. KTA formed in 2016 by lead guitarist and lead vocalist Lexington Bowler and keyboardist Tanner Clark at James Madison University. Through various collegiate connections, drummer Christian Okada and bassist Evan Lattanzi joined the group, completing the lineup. Although avoiding conforming to a genre, KTA has been described as a mix between Walk the Moon and Yellowcard. This unique mashup is heard in their pop-punk vocals and their synth driven and guitar backed compositions. KTA recently released their debut album "Keep it Together" in February, 2017.
