Strong Water: www.strongwater.band
Born out of the vibrant college community that is Harrisonburg, Virginia, Strong Water is an energetic, dance-all-night, up and coming Folk/Americana band. What originally started as a duo, swelled to be a six piece before settling on it's now-three dedicated members whose performance is built on strong Male and Female lead vocals supported by harmonies, driving Acoustic/Electric Guitar, well crafted melodic Fiddle lines, and rounded out by tasteful Drums/Percussion. With the addition of two touring musicians to cover Banjo/Acoustic Guitar and Bass, Strong Water's eclectic collection of more than 30 original songs and a handful of covers range from Bluegrass & Blues, to their personal spin on the Americana and Folk-Rock genres, incorporating sounds and styles from influences such as Noah Gundersen, Mumford and Sons, and The Lumineers.

After large numbers of requests from fans who had enjoyed a previous EP launched in November 2014, Strong Water independently funded, recorded, and released a 14 track Debut LP in April, 2016. Strong Water's growing list of special events, shows, & festivals throughout MD, VA, WV, and NC include sharing the stage with acts such as Judah & The Lion, The SteelDrivers, Cris Jacobs, The Last Bison, Devon Gilfillian, Lucy Dacus, Boy Named Banjo, and many more.

Virginia Man is a 5-piece band of brothers from Fredericksburg, Virginia. They began as a simple three-piece folk group through spontaneous downtown busking on one cool summer night. On that night, Kristian, Andrew and Josh, were quickly approached by a variety of local scouts for their effortless talent and natural chemistry as players. They played their first show the following week. Soon after, they were joined by Jack Rutherford (drums), Jason Bubba Ross (bass) and Jacob Keller (keys). And the rest is history.

Awe-inspiring master guitarist and vocalist Bobby Thompson is no stranger to the blues and rock world. He cut his teeth learning to play in the old blues clubs of D.C. from the likes of Bobby Parker. After honing his craft as a much sought after support man, Thompson decided to step out as a solo artist, releasing three albums since 2011. A recent review from Roots Music Report claims Thompson’s songs portray "muscular blues- and soul-rock strong on soulful vocals and cut-above-the-norm originals." With his smooth, gripping vocal stylings and his perfect musical taste on anything with a string, Thompson is what’s referred to as a “musician’s musician. Considered a “must see” act of the Northeast region, Bobby was nominated for the D.C area Musician of the Year award in 2015.

Revelator Hill is his latest collaboration with some of the finest rock and blues musicians in the Washington DC area, including Seth Morrissey (bass & vocals), Gary Crockett (drums & vocals), Wes Lanich (keyboards), and special guest member Ron Holloway (saxophone). This group is wrought with deep emotion and blazes down the path pioneered by the great Jimi Hendrix, blending deeply-rooted blues traditions with a popular rock edge to create a sound that will stir every soul.
